In the first half of September, CPK unveiled its investment tender schedule for the 2026 - 2028 period.
Outline of the new investment plan
According to the plan, nearly 100 procurement procedures - each valued at over PLN 1m net - are expected to be launched during that timeframe. For 2026 alone, the combined value of tenders scheduled for announcement is estimated at PLN 40bn. Among the largest planned rail-related tenders for 2026 are the contracts for construction work on the Warsaw-Łódź high-speed rail line (line no. 85) and the development of a new railway station.
Key procurement procedures related to the airport component of the CPK project will include:
- Design, delivery and installation of an airfield ground lighting system
- Construction of the road layout for the eastern and western Landside zones
On 24 September, the Polish parliament adopted an amendment to the CPK Act. The revised legislation includes measures aimed at streamlining the investment process, allowing CPK to begin pre-construction activities earlier than previously permitted.
Latest tender announcements
On 29 September, CPK launched another major procurement procedure linked to the new airport development. The tender seeks a contractor to design, supply, and install more than 500 elevators, escalators, and moving walkways-marking one of the largest airport equipment contracts of its kind in recent years globally.
